Artificial intelligence is a vast and expanding topic in many industries including the photo industry. While AI can support innovation and creativity in a range of ways it is important to consider the copyright implications in the development of AI. This is especially significant in the image licensing industry in relation to AI generated creations, training AI and text and data mining in commercial databases. In this webinar legal experts Anna Skurczynska, Open Plan Law, and Sophie Goossens, Reed Smith, will cover some of the ongoing copyright issues raised regarding the protection of human works and AI works. This webinar will be taking a closer look at:

•licensing or exceptions to copyright for text and data mining, which is often significant in AI use and development;
